Creating a sustainable business is one of my top priorities, and as this first collection celebrates the wonders of our world it’s even more important to me that we give back what we’re taking out.

I’ve partnered up with a wonderful organisation; Creating Tomorrow’s Forests and pledged to plant a tree with them for every original painting sold.

Creating Tomorrow’s Forests are passionate about afforestation; creating new forest in an area that previously had no tree cover. New forests absorb carbon more quickly than established forests, so planting new forests is an essential part of tackling climate change. Planting entire woodlands with a mix of species is also more effective for carbon capture and biodiversity restoration than planting individual trees, which is why their mission is to create forests rather than monocultures.

The UK has the lowest level of woodland cover in Europe at just 13%, so they are committed to creating new forests to capture carbon and to increase biodiversity.
