Shipping & Returns

Originals

Original Artworks are packaged and shipped with a professional art specialist courier, they know how to keep your painting in the most pristine condition in transit. Please allow 5-10 working days for the process from Studio Collection to your door for Mainland UK, from your order date. If you have ordered a frame for your original this process will take up to 2 weeks longer. You will be kept up to date on email when your painting has shipped. Please check your spam.

Please bare in mind that shipping costs to areas outside Mainland UK could be considerably higher and for original art could be between 50-100% of the cost of the artwork, depending on the size and destination. If you can get in touch with us when you’re purchasing your art, we’ll get a quote together and add a separate shipping listing for you to purchase after you have bought your artwork.

We use a professional courier company and original art is fully insured throughout its journey for both of our peace of mind. As long as there’s proof the damage was incurred before you received it, you will receive a full refund. To ensure this, if you notice any damage to the box on arrival, photograph it whilst with your courier as proof of damage.

For the Little Wonder mini paintings these will be wrapped in tissue, bubble wrap and safely packaged in a postal box, then posted special delivery via Royal Mail. In the unlikely case of loss or damages, a claim will need to be logged within 14days of your postal confirmation email. Please get in touch for International postage fees.

Prints

Your order will be shipped within 7-10 working days. Please bear that in mind when you’re ordering a gift. Once your order is shipped you will receive an email confirmation and tracking number (outside UK), this will be sent to the email address you used when ordering.

We ship prints Royal Mail 1st Class. Tracked in the EU and International. Once shipped, we can unfortunately make no guarantees how long your print will take to reach you. Please refer to your unique tracking number (if applicable) and use the Royal Mail website.

If you are emailing to find out where your order is and it is still within the 7-10 working day period, as a small business we may not have the capacity to respond to your query. Rest assured, you will receive an email once your order has shipped with tracking information which you can check before contacting us. Please check your spam.

Customs

EU and International customs- Since Brexit, you may be liable to pay customs fees and/or local tax, imposed by your country. The rules and amounts differ from country to country. This unfortunately is not the responsibility of Art by Lydia Jane, and you should be prepared to cover these costs.

If a product arrives in your country and you decide you do not want to cover the customs charge/have changed your mind/do not collect your parcel in time/did not read this important information, and you miss the deadline to collect- the piece may be sent back to us in the Uk. We cannot reuse the print/artwork, and we have already paid for packaging and shipping, therefore we consider this a loss against our business and you will not be eligible for a refund unless in exceptional circumstances, this is at the discretion of Art by Lydia Jane.

Returns

There are no returns on prints or original artworks, sorry. When handling and packaging prints and original art we are meticulous and use expert art handlers for our originals. It would be impossible for the artworks to be rolled and unrolled (prints) or unpacked and professionally repackaged to the same high standard (originals)without there being some damage to its original pristine state, meaning we deem them no longer fit for resale.

Please check the dimensions and specifications before purchasing. Once they are shipped we cannot accept any returns unless damaged.

We are currently able to ship to; United Kingdom, USA, Mainland Europe. Please get in touch for other destinations, and also to find out costs for shipping destinations outside Mainland UK.

Colour variations

Please bear in mind that the colours you see on screen may slightly vary to the colours of the paintings, as devices with different settings/brightness/contrasts etc could potentially skew colours.
